Table of Numbers (Tally Table)

There is a feedback entry for SQL 2008 at

by MVP Erland Sommarskog that appears to be lobbying for a "Table of Numbers" aka "Tally Table" to come as a built in feature of SQL Server. If you are interested in this kind of feature pay a visit to the listed feedback and give it a review.

Apparently, my Windows Live account signup hasn't made it this far, yet. Needless to say, I have some pretty strong feelings in the area of Tally tables...
