    I've been eyeing the T-SQL Fundamentals book by Itzik Ben-Gan

    Anybody been through this book already? Reviews?

    I've not read that one, but have read T-SQL Querying and T-SQL Programming both by Itzik Ben-Gan. Both were extremely good reads.

  • +1 for the Itzik books, the are very good, infact I have several. Like most technical books that are not exactly exciting but the examples are well explained and if you really want to know what happens under the hood its in there too.

    He also delivers some excellent training, I went on a course he ran in london a few years back and he was very good.

    MCITP SQL 2005, MCSA SQL 2012

  • It's a very good book especially if you are new to sql. I was introduced to sql about 6 or 7 years ago so most of the material was a refresher but I still learned something from it.
