SQL 2005 (bld 4035) on Win 2003 (3790).
My Transaction Log is growing. The T-Log backup completes but the messages include a statement that the log has not been truncated because records have not been replicated.
I do not have replication set up for any tables in this database.
DBCC Loginfo shows most VLFs have Status = 2 and Parity = 64. There are a few VLFs with Parity = 128.

Thanks Gail.
The link got me started on the right path. I ended up creating a dummy Replication Publication, running ReplDone, deleting the dummy Replication. That cleared the hung indicatorand the backup began perfroming as expected.
