Respected All
I have windows server 2003 standard edition with 2 gb RAM and sql server 2005 express edition
user database mdf file is 2.5 GB
Where to look why system is dead slow
I know sql server 2005 express edition has limit of 4 GB database size and eat up to 1 GB RAM
CPU utilization is normal , sqlserver.exe using aprox 1.2 GB RAM and system PF Usage is aprox 2.2 GB
Is there only RAM Problem or anything else.
Target memory is 1.2 GB
Total Memory Memory 1.07 GB
Please Help me to solve this issue.
Thanks

Follow the advice in Gails articles or pick up a book on performance tuning (<cough>, look down, <cough>). You need to gather metrics to identify where your bottlenecks are, and then identify what is causing the bottlenecks. From there you figure out what to do to fix the issue.

Hi
You can use @nalytics Performance Free Data Collector for Microsoft SQL Server & Windows
Server, this tool can help you to solve your performance problems, I have tested it works
excellent and it is very easy to configure and implement it.
