sysmail_unsentitems shows emails that I have received as a status of retrying

  Any idea what I should look at here?

  SQL 2008 R2 RTM

  Lots of emails make it to the sysmail_sentitems view, but I also have several that are showing up as retrying even after the recipients have received them.

  Our SMTP relay point is an exchange 2010 server if that helps.... Not sure what's going on here.
