  • After installing sql7 sp4 the sysalerts table in msdb is empty and has two columns missing from it. Has anyone seen this error before?

  • No, can you create an alert?. Maybe you should restore all the system tables to return to the other service pack

  • I've fixed the problem by copying that table from another server but I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them. The stored procedures that are called to see the job properties make calls to this table and the columns that were dropped.
