sysadmin permissions

    I've given sysadmin rights to a login for ETL people to run a job. They say that they are still getting an error:

    The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'sp_OACreate', database 'mssqlsystemresource', schema 'sys'.

    I'm not really sure why we are getting this error.

    You have to check the credential that are used to run the job, if you are using any proxy account or any other account you have to make sure either that account is member of sysadmin or you can give 'EXECUTE' permission for these SP's for that account in master database .. Giving a person to run the job 'sysadmin' will not affect anything ...
