Suspended SPID blocked by -2 in the BlkBy column

  Hopefully, I'm in the right forum. I have a SPID showing suspended status and it shows a "-2" in the BlkBy column. From my limited knowledge of that column, isn't that number suppsed to relate to another SPID that is active on the server. I don't see a SPID of -2 anywhere, can anyone assist me in understanding this situation.

  SPID -2 is for a MSDTC transaction which is terminated but not cleaned up.

  First of all try to work back the transaction to the originating host where the DTC transaction came from and terminate it via the MSDTC snapin.
