but I'd like to have watched England longerReally? Playing like that I could barely stand to watch just 2 of the 3 games they did play!
There was no pleasure in any observation of that team it is fair to say - I did manage to get through the 2 games but I guess there would have been an unspoken proviso in my post - i.e. that they managed to play as well as say Switzerland or Ghana or some other footballing giant.
lol I'll give you that one. So far as I see it the biggest problems with English football these days is how they don't roll around on the floor when they're absolutely fine and they don't bite enough opponents.
Well, as a Saints fan I'll add the fact that other teams nick all our players as soon as they demonstrate they can manage a straight pass over 10 yards.
...
Of all the international technical forums in the world with litterally millions of members what's the chances of a Saints fan and a born & bread Portsmouth man striking up a random football conversation?
The Saints club have for the last few years (so far as I've understood it) been working their academy and youth teams hard. If there's no space in the main squad, they can't so easily keep supplying the country with decent English footballers from their academy. It's good for English football if not so good for the Saints fans.

Its good for the Man U fans of the world aswell as Luke Shaw should turn into an excellent player and will be a good buy (unlike Fellani).:w00t:

Ha! I guess the odds are obviously pretty good. There's a lot of tech work down South, and it's a bit more relaxed to live in the area than London, unless you like that sort of thing.
I guess I can't moan too much to you about the state of affairs as we're relatively well off. BTW I'm not a crazy hater or anything, one of my best friends is a Pompey guy - it's just good for banter, I don't get those who refuse to do anything but growl at the 'enemy'. I did feel (a bit) sorry for you lot when you got pillaged - might have smiled if you'd been playing Eastleigh this year in the conf, like to go to the odd game at Ten Acres. I'm fairly sanguine about things and really hoping the Ronnie Revolution sorts us out, and we all know English football needs sorting out as you say.
Porky Luke Shaw will do OK I reckon - he had some good runs last season, can't help feeling he's gone to a big club too soon a la Wayne Bridge, he's not quite managed to be as electrifying as Bale was at his age IMO. Not that I'm bitter or anything :hehe:

Nice one!!!
It's ages since I have had any southern banter as I emigrated to the midlands in the early 90s.

Went on a trip to Iceland. Very pure nature, no cans, plastic bottles or cigaret butts. Pure air with some ash in it 🙂
I know there are some datacenters over there, but haven't seen them. Perhaps under the ground?
Great place to spend some time, most places no internet.

A quick break for me, climbing a 14,000 foot peak in CO with the family.
