  I'm able to track .rdl reports through the execution log on SQL Server Reporting database. Our organization has also uploaded some PDF and Excel documents to the same folders containing the .rdls. Is there any way to track usage of the PDF/Excel documents through the database or is the best method through the HTTP log.

  SQL Server and SSRS won't track that in the database at all.
