Here's a thought I had: Why not start a SQL Server Wiki here at SQLServerCentral.com? I was thinking of starting my own, but a Wiki really isn't a single person activity.

I'd be more than happy to help.
Of the 3-4 wiki type systems at work, I do about 80 percent of the updates to a mediawiki we use for day to day instructions on how to do our job.

What would the goal in terms of content?

Wiki content tends to evolve. The value is in how topics are covered and grouped. As interest expands it will cover more.
I would eventually want it to cover what is discussed on SSC but favoring grouping and linking to repeating content.
