Suggestions on SQL Editor

    Does anyone have good suggestions on third party SQL Editors?  I'm using SQL Server 2000 no intention on upgrading right now.  I'd like to have the capability to be able to split windows.  Currently the query analyzer does not have this ability.  Among other features not normally found in query query analyzer.

    I heard good things about the ApexSQL editor and the Quest Toad IDE, but never used them. I think Apex is a good bargain $$ wise.

    I used the Embarkadero tools years ago, DBARtisan and RapidSQL and liked them, but they were $$$, and a little slow. Probably run better now that we're off NT 4

    I am not sure if English Query would let you do that. But you might want to look at it.
