Suggest Memory configuration for multiple instances

    We have one server with 8 GB RAM and three instances (SQL 2005, SP2), all are used equally. I require your guidance on how we should configure memory for three instances. Should we enable AWE on all instances... If yes, then what should be min server memory / max server memory for each instance.

    Your help is highly appreciated.

    Seeing as you have three instances and you need to share 8 GB across the three I don't see any reason to use AWE. Just give about 2.3 GB of RAM to each instance, leaving 1 GB of RAM for the server. You can then adjust that up a little (2.5 GB each) if necessary and if the server doesn't need much.
