Subscription notifications similar to Reddit

    Right now I have notifications disabled for subscribed topics because I don't want those flooding my personal email. Wish you could just have it similar to Reddit where you can see a small notification icon showing that someone has responded to one of the topics. It doesn't have to be fancy and show the actual message just a link back to the thread is fine. I find myself going back through my posts constantly to see if someone has responded.

    Just a thought...

    Heck it doesn't even need to be an icon...just something like 'Notifications (3)' to indicate 3 new responses for example. Could be alongside 'My Posts'...

    If it's an important topic that I have posted myself then in that case I will change the notifications to send to my email. However, if I'm not the original poster but want to follow up, this would be great way to navigate to threads that have new responses.
