Well, all the study books are copyrighted, and I'm sure you're not asking for illegal material. Most of the free stuff is questionable and often braindumps (questions taken straight from the actual exam, hence cheating)
I'd advise you to buy a study guide. They're not expensive. You can look at them as an investment in your career.

You can read about the exam here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-450
Most prep materials do cost money, and you should think of this as an investment.

Gail, Steve, taken from the MS site on 70-450...
Microsoft E-Learning
There is no Microsoft E-Learning training currently available.
Microsoft Press Books
There are no Microsoft Press books currently available
The only book I could find (in South Africa), was through an importer, and would cost about R900, and
I doubt that this specific book would cover everything.
I'm looking for a decent MS Press book myself, but no luck yet.

The fact that there are no MS Press books does not mean there are no training books. Other publishers may well have published materials for this exam. MS Press are not the only ones that publish exam prep guides.

Yes, getting books here is a pain. Personally I just studied out of BoL, using the skills listing on the MS Site.
Take-2's pretty good about importing books, just slow.

I used the MS Press book for 70-432, and must say it was very helpfull, thats why I'd prefer another MSP book for future exams.
Will have a look at take2, thanx.

Since this comes up first in the list on Google I thought I would add a few notes...
There is only 1 book published by Sybex that I have seen that covers both 70-432 and 70-450. I am skimming through it before taking the 70-450 test. I have already taken the 70-432 test and can tell you it does a good job of covering that material. You can find the book here.
Microsoft has put a learning plan out there, that might prove useful.
I have used MeasureUp.com for previous test and it is very good. The questions are explained if you get them wrong in great detail, each answer is explained why it is right and the others are wrong. I believe they also link to resources to get more detailed information on.
