I created a structured storage file a few months ago, now when I try to open the file I get a message that it can not find file path. anyone know how I can recover or open this file in a disconnected state?
Thanks

Steve in Enterprise manager right click on the Data Transformation folder and browse to open your package.

Thanks Christopher, unfortunately that is not working I need to find a back door into this file... it appears that either the file is corrupted or when trying to open it the conventional way it try's to connect to a file path that is in the dts but is not readily available...

I have seen this happen to DTS packages stored in SQL Server if the DTS package was created or modified using the SQL 2000 version of Enterprise Manager and you try to open it in the SQL 7 version of EM, or vice versa. Is that the case here? You might try opening the file from either version of EM.
