The company where I work is in need of 1 or 2 strong t-sql programmers. This will be lots of data manipulation to bring data sources of every type you can imagine from MSSQL to text files to import into an application.
The data comes in all kinds of ways: sybase, oracle, excel, etc. It is first DTS'd into MSSQL and then manipulated from there via QA. The query that is built in QA is then used to DTS the results into a text file.
This is a long term project so we prefer a full time employee in Phoenix, AZ but will consider freelance as well.
Please respond here.

Jeff, any chance you'd hire someone part-time that could work remotely and in the evenings?

It would depend on thier ability

If you consider part time, how many hours would you expect that person to work on the project and also what is the rate?

The part time is the problem not the remote or the rate. 'Part time' would still need to be 24 - 32 hours a week for it to be worth my time training, managing, setting up development environments, etc.
Rate is negotiable depending on ability.

In that case, do you have an email address so I can send you my resume?
