How stress test utility help us .before we install sql server 2000.

pal, stress tests are mainly applied to sql servers already installed on the machine with databases running, so you can check out if your application is fast and secure.
if you want to make a stress test on the machine before install the sql server 2000, i suggest you to look at the minimal requirements needed and the max. processors/ram supported by each version
try to run a benchmark software too, so you can check if your hardware is secure enough to support a sql server 2k.
and finally, when ur server is running, try to download a software called SSTS (http://www25.brinkster.com/erialcberts)

Dear,
I download sqliostreee.exe from a website and read the document and in that there it was written that the stress test is basically to check the drives there is no error on the disk on which i need to install sql server.
