Strangest thing on instances

  i have one sql server three instances.

  When i log into one of the instances domain\instance3 i get all the databases for domain\instance1

  when i view properties it points to domain\instance1...even though logging in.

  If i use the ip\instance3 it works.

  Any idea how to fix.

  Other developers it seems to be fine.

  What tool or program are you using to log into SQL Server? Do you have aliases setup on the client computer in SQL Server Configuration Manager?
