Strange problem with SQL job

  Hi,

  I have strange problem with SQL backup job.

  The trans backup job was running fine on its scheduled time i.e on every 1 Hr, but yesterday when i tried to ran it manually it ran fine at that time, but after that it didnt take the backup on its scheduled time. the main thing is history showing successful execution of job but it not taking the actual backup.

  I am using SQL Server 2005 SP2 std edition.

  The job completed successfully but did not take the backup? If this is the case what indication do you have that it did not take the backup?

  If only I could snap my figures and have all the correct indexes apear and the buffer clean and.... Start day dream here.
