Storing DTS packages into .vbs format

  Hello,

  We have around 1000 DTS packages. We need to store them to .vbs format. I can open each DTS and store it for Location of Visual Basic File which creates .vbs file for that particular DTS.

  However, i don't want to do that for each DTS as it would take lot of time. Is there any other way to automate this process?

  You could write a VBS script to do this using the object model. Don't have one handy, but search for one. Might be something at sqldts.com

  I tried.. but don't see any command to save DTS as .vbs.... there is a way to save it as .dts but not as .vbs.... at least i am not aware of any....
