I know how to access the text that composes the stored procedures from sys.sql_modules. Rather than trying to parse out the string, is there anything that will give me the parameters of each stored procedure?
If possible , I need to do this in both 2000 and 2005.

See my reply to your "regex" post for how to do this in 2005. There is a way to do it in 2000, using the system tables, but I don't have a copy of 2000 right now and can't look it up easily. I think the parameters were in syscolumns in 2000, but I'm not certain. Easy enough to look up if you have a copy.
