Vivek,
That was pretty rude to someone who is trying to help you.
I have never heard of Stored Function Tables and I'm sure sushila has never heard of them either. Sushila was just asking for more information from you - such as where did you hear this term? It could be you have the wrong name for something.

I was trying to understand the question since I hadn't heard of "Stored function tables"..UDFs - yes; stored procedures - yes; system functions - yes...hence my need for clarification!
That being said - a change in your attitude and tone would be much appreciated!!

Do you mean table-valued function perhaps?
If so, there's a very nice section in books online (the SQL help files) on them. Title is "User-Defined Functions That Return a table Data Type"
Been rude to people who are honestly trying to help you is a good way to ensure that they never try again. It's not Sushila's fault that you weren't clear with your question. She was just asking for clarification.

I m no doubt polite, but I may be rude bcoz of following quotation
ASCII stupid question, get a stupid ANSI !!!
I believe I have not asked any stupid question.
Anyway, Sushila don't mind.
I think I m looking for Table valued functions and even I don't have any idea about it.
Again, is ...

That's her automatic signature. Just as mine is "Have a nice day..." It's not aimed at any one but is on every post of hers automatically. It's a pun on the ANSI and ASCII character encoding.
I gave you the title of the section in books online for info on table-valued functions. It's about a page long. (from the contents: Creating and Maintaining databases -> User-defined functions -> User-Defined functions that return a table data type)
I wouldn't be so sure that Sushila doesn't mind. Was like offering a hand to someone who fell, only to have them kick you.

Heiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we have a miss-understanding here vivek!!!!
The quotation about stupid questions is not a blame to u!!!!
its just a "Signature" that appears to every post for the specific person!!! like mine "When you 've got a hammer.....nail"
PS:I hope this http://www.sqlteam.com/item.asp?ItemID=979 is a starting point of what u ask for.

Dear All,
If Sush didn't liked She is welcome enough to say me anything, request you all, not to take advantage of the situation, and generate sympathy for her by saying anything "kick...", I can now find out group members who is ready to offer a hand are getting POLITELY VERY RUDE, which is not acceptable.
Hope I am clear.
Anyway, Thanks to everyone 4 their quick replies.

Whoa...don't know what kind of communications barrier this falls under but nobody was being rude - either politely or otherwise...they were just trying to explain that it is my "signature line" that appears at the end of each of my posts...most everyone has one & I've just modified mine to (hopefully) look more like a quote and not a personal attack...
**ASCII stupid question, get a stupid ANSI !!!**
