stopping automatic backups

  I had scheduled automatic backup on SQL server 2000. But now when i try to remove the same it does noit allow me to do that. When is press OK after deleting backup path I get a message you must give one backup path.

  I have also tried scheduling is to One time to a past date still backup is happening every day. I am totally confused.

  Please help

  [font="Verdana"]Automatic backup plans means you are backing up through maint plan right??

  You can delete the main plan it self and then the job also.
