Hi,
I went through the link http://www.gre-sqlserver-solutions.com/Installation.html and it says that we need to stop the Antivirus software while befire starting the SQL Server installation. I would like to know that how does a Antivirus software effects the SQL Server installation
thanks

This is just the same recommendation you get when installing any software. FWIW - I have never had any issues with virus scanners causing issues during SQL Server installations and I have not had to disable them.

You should not need to disable AV software during installation of SQL Server.
Once installed however, for performance reasons you will want to ensure that your AV software does not scan files with SQL Server extensions such as:
.mdf
.ldf
.ndf
or whatever custom extension you may use for sql server data files.
Cheers,
