my backup job is running fine but the status of the job is showing failure . i checked in logs but in vain , how to solve this

What is the job designed to do? Also try adding an output file to the Job Step. It gives you the complete logging of the job.

On the Advanced tab in the job step properties check that the On Success action is not set to 'Quit the job reporting failure'.
