Ahoi,
the difference between Star- and Snowflake obviously makes a difference in performance for ROLAP models and for processing
time of dimensions in a MOLAP model.
My question is, does it matter for MOLAP cubes (other than processing the dimensions)?
Has the cube to do these joins aswell, when requested from the cube or is the data structure totally different
Not sure how the SSAS Cube MOLAP engine works inside, if i have a big dimension with many attributes, does the normalization matter when data requested from the cube?
I want to be the very best
Like no one ever was

Hello. Consider some research into SSAS Tabular. One big feature of Tabular is that the model does not need to be star or even snowflake. Tabular is all in-memory and the data are structured differently than in the relational engine.
Plenty of documentation out there. Best wishes!
