Standard Reports in sql server 2008

    Is there a role, permission, or mapping that I can give out so that dev users can run the standard reports within management studio in sql server 2008? I only want the developers to view the reports and not much more..

    I could run the reports and then export them to a fileshare however that is painful for me. Any ideas?

    So you only want them to have permission to run the report? If so, you can make them a part of the Report Viewer group in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

    You also mention Management Studio... Do these people need to have permission to modify the actual databases?
