Standard 2008 r2....does compressionn work on logshipping and mirroring

    Please don't ask a question in the title. Repeat what you need to know in the text as your subject/title is trucated in the forum view.

    There is log stream compression for mirroring, but understand that if you are tight on bandwidth, you might have other issues with mirroring. All operations, including index rebuilds and maintenance move across.
