Hi ,
SSRS wont allow different charting types in the same plot????
For ex: Y1-axis: Scatter graph
Y2-axis : Line graph
Can i achieve this?
I am using SSRS 2008.
Any possibility, let me know.
Thanks a lot,
santosh.

You should be able too if you are using the dundas functionality... What options are available to you?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I know that it is possible through Dundas.
But, is it possible in SSRS-2008???
Any help is welcomed.
Thanks..

When you create your chart, choose the first chart type (scatter graph). You can then drag and drop your secondary data set for the line graph into the data fields area of the chart.
If you right click on the second data series, you can change the chart type for that data to line. If you then go to the properties for that series, you can change the axis to be a secondary axis (if required).
NOTE: This is in native SSRS-2008, not using the Dundas chart add-in.
Hope that helps!
