SQLRNNR (9/30/2011)
Have you tried using localhost in your url?
yes, but the same issue.
I am not sure whats the problem, where its going wrong. Even if you click refresh on the page which is showing report manager, it will start throwing error!!!

The issue is not with SSRS. It really seems to be an issue with Vista. Try a VM with win7 installed and install ssrs there and test.

Yes, probably thats the final option I could try.
Has anyone tried the basic authentication mode in SSRS by modifying the RS config file?

If you have used it, then please let me know if this could help or not.

Hey, good news.
It worked in Windows 7.
Initially, I configured it in port 80. It was working with only with localhost option!!! When I tried with IP or system name, it did not work. Not sure why!!!
But when I configured it, in port 8080. It worked. Now its working fine :-).
Any idea, why it did not work properly in port 80?
Any ways, thank you guys.
Regards,
Pravasis
