I would like to give a group of users the ability to use Shared Schedules in Reporting Services. However, I cannot figure out how to grant the permissions. I went so far as to grant everything in the Item-Level Role Security and System Level Role Security and the user still cannot use Shared Schedules.
It would appear that only a server administrator can access shared schedules. This doesn't make any sense.
What am I missing? Where do I need to make changes?

In order for users to see shared schedules, you must grant them 'System User' in the system-level permissions. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337385(v=SQL.90).aspx (2005 version; other versions also available). This page recommends that all non-administrators be granted System User.
(I apologize for resurrecting a long-dead thread, but I had some trouble finding this info and thought I would share.)
