SSRS - return to document map page after refresh

  • Can anyone help?

Is there a way to automatically return to the open document page (sub-report) after you have refreshed a report?

    Thanks in advance.

  • can u be more clear..

  • I’ve created a report that has a number of sub-reports in it, I’ve then created a document map label on each of these sub-reports. Then in each of these sub-reports I’ve created document map labels on the text box I’ve used to create the title for each graph in the sub report to enable me to drill down to the individual graphs in the sub report.

The problem is when I drill down to one of these graphs in one of the sub-reports and then change a parameter value in the main report it resets the documents mapping and takes you back to the start of the report. What I want to do is maintain the position in the document before changing the parameter so that the user does not have to re-drill through the report to find the place in the document they were at before changing the parameter.

Hope that makes sense. This has been driving me around the bend so any help would be gratefully appreciated.

  • Hi,

  • yes, the parameter mappings have been set to pass through the main report to the sub-reports
