SSRS Reports

  • I have an SSRS report where the header and footer show up but the body of the report does not. There are text boxes in the body but nothing shows up. Is there a property for the body of the report that states whether the body can be visible or hidden?

  • Hi

I do not know of a property to hide the whole body.

Just need some more info to see if I can help. Is the textboxes linked to datafields? Is the boxes individualy hidded perhaps? What is the size of the body?

  • Hi

Sorry I did not add that if the you also have to check if dataset returns anything. Please let me know if you still have a problem

  • it looks like it's the individual text boxes that are causing the issue. When those are deleted I can see whatever is typed in the body of the report. I've checked all the text boxes and the visibility on each of those is set to visible.

  • You may want to check if there any report item placed in front of the test boxes (overlapping).

Try click whitespace in the report and hit Ctrl + A keys to select all report items in the body. Hit Delete and then add a new text box to see if it displays.
