Please see attached error.
This comes up when I used VS2015 to develop ssrs report and deployed successfully in 2012 server.
All other reports ( Because they were not developed in 2015 ) work fine.
I think this is a VS2015 bug

You sure you have the connection info correct for that data source?

YES
It works for me ( because I have VS2015 installed on my desktop 0 So the connection info is perfect. It is a compatibility issue where a report produced in VS2015 does not work properly in a SQLSEVER 2012 reporting server

Could you check in connection proporties Save my password option.
It must be check. I think it is related the connection settings.

Just because it works locally doesn't mean anything about live. Is your datasource correctly set up on SSRS? I don't mean in VS2015, I mean on the Report Server itself. As it's a different project, it won't make use of any existing Datasources you had.
I'm in the same ball park as the others, there's nothing wrong with the report, if there was you wouldn't be getting that error, the datasource on the ReportServer is the problem you need to fix.
