SSRS Project default date format

    How on earth do you change the default date format for a project, or even a report for thath matter, away from USian? In earlier versions this was no problem, but it seems rather well hidden in the VS2012 IDE

    Changing the language settings for the report will change the way dates are displayed by default.

    Click on the design area just outside of the report body and press F4. In the properties window you need to change the Language property to your desired locale.

    Thanks for that. It was actually set to the correct locale, so instead I decided to stop being a f***wit and used the correct (datetime) datatype.
