SSRS Native 2008R2 Scheduler Upload Output to Sharepoint Document Library

  • I have a... conundrum. I've tried to grep the interwebs but they keep pointing me towards Integrated mode. Changing to Integrated mode would be a pain at this point.

There is a report, it's quite complex. The report has several Scheduled emails that go out weekly (Excel output).

It would be great to also have a copy go to a Shared Document Library in our Sharepoint site.

Thus far the only solution I've seen to this was

    1. Schedule report output to go to a network drive

    2. Windows task + powershell (or similar) to upload the file to Sharepoint

    Is that the best solution?

  • Or... Could Share look at an Exchange Public Folder? We do have Exchange 2010 also. Not sure if that would be an easier possibility to have SSRS email the report's output to that Public Folder and then have Share reference this.

  • Bump... anyone have a suggestion?

  • you should be able to save the subscriptions to the share point repository directly.
