  I've looked and looked through Microsoft's site for information about what is deprecated and what is changed for SSRS in SQL Server 2014 and the information is confusing to say the least.

  I think it indicates that Report Builder and a new version of 'BIDS' (SSDT-BI) and SSDT for Visual Studio 2012 & 2013 are the only reporting tools left.

  I know Model Builder is gone (has been gone for a while) and Report Designer is gone.

  Does this sound correct?

  I just keep thinking I'm missing something.

  I don't want to pick something and then have it disappear with the next release of SQL Server and be stuck in an older version of SQL Server because of the cost of upgrading/re-writing 100's of reports.
