Hello,
Is MSBI 2016- SSRS is having the option to export data to excel with dropdown box
and corresponding data.
If not can this be done by any other method in SSRS.
my goal is say for EG:
if i select male from drop down my record will return male related record from my table
if female is selected then female related records should return from my table.
If All is selected then all the records should display from my table.
We need to generate for N no of customers so we are going with Excel as that was the option accepted by all customers for their invoice.
these records needs to be coming from combo box drop down in excel.

OK. What is your question?

I think what the original poster is asking is whether SSRS can export to a spreadsheet and have that spreadsheet contain a drop down control that causes the desired records to be displayed. The answer to that question is a definite NO. While you could have the SSRS Report have the drop down, and then be able to export the resulting records to Excel, the functionality this person seems to want would be more like having the SSRS Report embedded in the Excel spreadsheet, with it's drop down control. Not going to happen. Of course, I'm at a loss to apprehend the confusion of ideas that lead to the desire for that configuration in the first place.

The idea of a report is for it to be a report. You don't change the data on it.
Like Steve said, you could have drop down options but those are parameters and appear on the web view, not in Excel. You can display these at the top of the report and the user can select which parameters they want, and export the data. Otherwise, if they really want to do it in Excel, they export the whole dataset, and you teach them about the magic Filter button and how it puts dropdowns on all your headers.
