We have a requirement in SSRS, where we need to download a chart in PPT/Word, we are facing following issues:-
1. SSRS does not provide any option to download reports as PPT. I am aware of a third party tool (ASPOS), which can be configured with SSRS. Is there any option available where a report can be downloaded as PPT without using any third party tool.
2. Exported PPT, is displayed as an image for the chart, but we need that as a chart object, so end user can change the data after downloading locally.

I don't have time right now to try this out, but you might start by looking at publishing the chart as a report part and see if PPT can link to it. There are a lot of cool features for interactivity between Microsoft products so you may be surprised.
The only issue is that you most likely will not be able to edit the data used to show the graph except by changing the data in the database. The report part will probably retain its link to the database and store data from the most recent refresh.
Then again, you may be able to use a local spreadsheet as the data source.
Just some off the top of my head thoughts. Hope one of them works for you.
Other than that, as far as I know, exporting the report only creates listings and standard graphics.
