Hello,
I'm trying to install SQL 2012 Express on a laptop so I can practice for work and to start studying for my MCSE exams. I'm having trouble configuring SSRS. I ran Internet Explorer as an administrator and added the report server to my trusted sites. When I type in the URL it seems to go to it, but it just shows the following:
dellwin/ReportServer_SQLEXPRESS - /
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Version 11.0.2100.60
No links to change site settings or anything else. What's wrong with this? Any and all help is appreciated.

Try http://dellwin/Reports instead. This is the URL you would normally use to view reports.

I find life is a lot easier if you just buy the Developer edition off Amazon or whatever, it'll set you back $50 or so. Gives you 100% of Enterprise and includes the Agent system.
Personally I avoid Express like the plague, though it is useful developing strategies to write stored procedures + batch files + Task Scheduler to know how to get around the lack of an Agent.
