  • Have you recently restored your reporting services database?

Have you been backing up your SSRS keys?

  • No for both. But the problem is fixed now after bouncing the server, should i back up the encryption key now?

  • Yes. You should include that in your regular backup plan. You can use Reporting Services Configuration Manager tool to do the backup of the key.

  • Hi,

Recently I have faced the Encryption & Decryption issue in SSRS , even I have not set any kind of properties , the easy solution I found on the net is following :

    a. Go to the SSRS Configuration Manager

    b. Select the option of Encryption Keys (select Delete Encrypted Content)

Let me know if this helps!
