Hi,
First time successfully create one sample report project by using SQL BI Development Studio.
I am using my Network Service account for SSRS configuration on server side, and created one sample project, it is working fine.
URL - ipaddress/reportserver access denied due domain\account permission.
after that domain\account added to local Administrators group then only can able to access URL. The same domain\account already assigned to sysadmin permission in SSMS.
Please tell me, Is it mandatory to assign local Administrators group for domain\account?
Thanks

Please see if the following link answers your question
1. “SQLServer2008ReportingServiceWebServiceUser$MachineName$InstanceName” -Local User group not available
2. “SQL2008ReportServerUser$MachineName$InstanceName” - this is available in Local user group. (here I added domain account after that URL not able to access)
Timely resolved issue ,domain user just added into Administrators Group then URL can accessed. suppose 10 domain user can able to access URL, I cannot add the Administrators Group.
currently available user group in server as below
SQLServer2005SQLBrowserUser$MachineName
SQLServerDTSUser$MachineName
SQLServerFDHostUser$MachineName$MSSQLSERVER
SQLServerMSASUser$MachineName$MSSQLSERVER
SQLServerMSSQLServerADHelperUser$MachineName
SQLServerMSSQLServerADHelperUser$MachineName
SQLServerMSSQLUser$MachineName$MSSQLSERVER
SQLServerReportServerUser$MachineName$MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER
SQLServerSQLAgentUser$MachineName$MSSQLSERVER
I do not want to add domain user into local administrators group. Could you tell me, alternatively how to assign for access the SSRS URL?
Thanks

No a report user does not have to be part of the admin group.
What we did is create a Report Browser group in AD. Then we added that group to the Report Manager Security, and gave it Browser permission.
Then just add the people you want to be able to use the reports to your Report Browser group in AD and you should be set.
