Hi everyone!
I have been digging into some of the capabilities for SSRS 2014, and I was wondering if there's a way to see report version history in native mode. I know you can see it in SharePoint integrated mode.
I know that SSRS 2014 does report snapshot history and was wondering if that is the only option for report history.

Hi Kat,
The native report manager does not store a version history of the report definitions. I think the Sharepoint versioning is all based on Sharepoint's internal document control.
Depending on what your requirements are; you can obviously source control your reports in Visual Studio when they are developed.
Or if your issue is users using Report Builder and you're worried about them say inadvertently overwriting or breaking report definitions then native mode doesn't really do it other then backing up the catalog.
One solution / workaround is this article (http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/Reporting+Services+%28SSRS%29/94119/) which has a fairly nifty approach to versioning definitions using a trigger in the database when they are overwritten in report manager.
