SSRS 2008 with report viewer and remote access

  • hi,

I have a web application witch use reportviewer. When I use a local report, it's allright. but when I want to link reportviewer to a report in reportserver, for a remote access (user access), I have error.

    The facilities are:

1 server : IIS7 WEB SERVER (Hosted WEB application)

1 server : SQL SERVER & REPORT SERVER (Database and report)

What is the best solution/Tutorial to get report (reportserver) for my remote user?

    Can you help me ?

  • What error do you have?

Do you allow anonymous access on IIS? How do you have the permissions set up on the report you want your external person to see?

  • In fact I use SSRS 2008, and reportviewer to display my report in the web application.

ReportServer is in the same server than SQL Database.

All the facilities are contened in same Sever virtualized:

SQLSERVER (database and SSRS2008) : Virtual Server 1

IIS (Web Application, reportviewer) : Virtual Server 2

User are out of the local network.

What is the best solution to give access at ReportServer via Reportviewer.

    Thank's a lot

  • I asked 3 questions and you didn't answer any of them so I can't really help you.
