Hello All,
I have a SSRS 2008 report which takes in multiple parameters(MTD,QTD,YTD,1YTD) from user and then displays data based on the those parameters.
For some reason when I select QTD,YTD then the QTD data does not show up on the report and only YTD shows up. I have to select MTD for the QTD to show up on the report. This issue is with MTD and QTD only.
I ran the store proc and have verified that the QTD data is available in my store proc for the period. I believe it is something on the report like a setting or something. How can i fix this?
I am relatively new to SSRS so I would really appreciate if someone can guide me here.
Regards,
abi

You really don't give us enough detail to help you much.
Is your period (or whatever you call it) parameter a multi-select parameter? That is you can select one, some or all of the MTD, QTD, YTD, 1YTD values.
The MTD, QTD, ... are the names of the parameter, what are the values? Do the values correspond with what your stored procedure is expecting?
The reason I ask is that if your parameter is setup with available values like:
MTD = 1
QTD = 2
YTD = 3
But the stored procedure is expecting a parameter value of 1 for QTD. (You mention that you have to select MTD to get QTD to show up).
Are there multiple tablixes (one each for MTD, QTD, ...) that are made visible/not visible based upon what time periods are selected?
Without much info, it's hard to be of much help.
Sorry,
Rob

Thanks Robert for the pointer.The issue was with the column visibility. i figured it out after reading through your reply.
