Hi,
I am working with SSRS 2008 and i have no service packs for SSRS 2008 installed. When I export the reports to excel I will have to display the Header in the Header section of the Excel. So I set the SimplePageHeader property to True in rereportserver.config and restarted the reporting services and an IISreset.
But the changes are not reflecting. What should I do?? Doesn't SSRS 2008 support SimplePageHeader or should I install any service packs?? If so Please Suggest...

Does the header show up when you export to .pdf? If so, I would expect the header to export to the first rows of your Excel worksheet.

Hi
The header appears as a part of the report when i export it to excel. but it does not get exported in the default Header section of Excel even after setting the SimplePageHeader to True.

Sorry, I don't have an answer. I've always wrestled (both in RS 2005 & 2008) in how report column headers get grouped, formatted and exported to MS Excel.
