SSRS 2008 - Can't connect to Oracle instance

    I can use the Oracle client tool tnsping and can ping the oracle server from the ssrs server, but keep getting oracle errors when trying to test the connection from the Windows 2008 SQL 2008 server.

    I get 2 different errors.

    1 - using the Oracle Client, I get ORA-12154 TNS could not resolve the connect identifier specified.

    2 - using OLE DB for Oracle, I get ORA-06413 Connection not open.

    Is there some special step that I'm missing? How do I get my SSRS 2008 connected to an Oracle DB?

    I got the same problem

    From the little I've been able to gather it has something todo with the (x86) in the foldername where Windows 64-bits OS's install 32 bits applications.

    Now to have a solution would be nice.
