Hello
I have SSRS up and running fine, with users viewing reports. I have just designed a report with BIDS 2008, and when I try to dely the report i get the following error message:
The report definition is not valid. Details: The report definition has an invalid target namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/sqlserver/reporting/2008/01/reportdefinition' which cannot be upgraded. (rsInvalidReportDefinition)
Can anyone help, and explain to me why this is happening?

You cannot deploy SSRS 2008 reports to SSRS 2005

Yeah, thanks later realised that I had to either upgrade the reporting service and server to 2008 from 2005, or install a whole new 2008 enviroment, how funny for a backward compatibility feature from MS!!!

If you consider that SSRS 2008 has many of the fancy Dundas charts (along with many other features) you can kind of understand why it's not simple to have that kind of backward compatibility.
