Couldn't find other examples of this. Don't have all the details handy, but wondered if anyone had any experience ...
We have a load of SSRS reports that work nicely. Occassionally (every couple of weeks at least) some of the reports (not all!) just decide to fail - not run at all.
No permissions have changed, the report hasn't changed, the data source connections haven't changed etc.
We have managed to resolve this by re-deploying under a different name - no other changes - and it works. Couple of days later we try the old report, and hey, it works again ?!!!
We just don't know what to look at. We are running SP3 on SQL 2005. If you want more details, let me know.
Has anyone else experienced this? Got any pointers?

Have you checked the SQL Server and Windows error logs for errors?
